You can also choose to make your own business card. There are several user-friendly programs on the Internet for this purpose. Some are free and for some you have to pay. I will share two of them.
Canva
The most widely used is Canva. On Canva you can design your own business card for free. You have hundreds of different templates where you only have to fill in a logo and your details. You can easily play with the fonts and colors. The big disadvantage of using Canva is that these tablets are also used by thousands of people across the Netherlands. The question is whether your appearance to the target audience is unique and appropriate enough.
Vistaprint
Vistaprint is officially a printing company where you can have your business cards printed, but they also offer the option to design business cards. In fact, they have a similar program available for you to design, such as Canva. Although the link with their printing company is a big advantage, the range of business card templates is a lot smaller. So here you run an even greater risk of other entrepreneurs having the exact same business card as you.
Photos on your business card
Finally, I want to talk to you about the use of photography on your business card. When you give it off you are also giving off an atmosphere to the recipient of the business card. Therefore, it is important that you make a conscious decision about whether or not to use photography and what kind of photography you use in your business card. First of all, you can of course use a mood image on the front or back. What’s even better is if you use a profile picture that you can put next to your name and position.
